Hello! My name is Hazel and I am a trained Designer for Animation with a passion for the arts and film.
Coming from a small town in Cornwall, surrounded by the sea and nature, this was the perfect place to immerse myself in the arts, completing an Art Diploma at the nearby College. In July 2017, I made a quick decision to apply for the BA Drawing Course in Falmouth, the best course to push my love of drawing. I learnt a lot during this time, from perspective and composition to colour and lighting. After just a year on the Drawing Course, I decided to make the big move and transfer to a BA Animation Course in Bristol. Studying the Animation principles and different aspects of design, I fell in love with creating Backgrounds, Concepts, Layout designs and Storyboards. 
Over the past few years, I have been working on some wonderful 2D children’s animations for TV such as: ‘JoJo and GranGran’, ‘Nikhil and Jay’ and ‘Pablo’. My roles have mostly been in Design, completing props, backgrounds, costumes and working on prop and character turnarounds, ready for the rig team.
